Sydney Machado is 31 years old and has been dancing since she was 2! She grew up surrounded by music ad movement, as she and her baby sister went with their mom to the studio, and to early morning college dance team practices.
Sydney was part of the competition dance world through the studios she studied with locally, including EDP! She learned how to work with her peers, the importance of being prepared, how to learn choreography quickly, and the joy of including others! Sydney was a dynamic competitor, often being recognized for her powerful movement, and compelling performances. Being part of EDP company helped cultivate her love for teaching!
Sydney has been teaching at Elevated Dance project since 2017. Her favorite styles to teach are jazz, acro, and lyrical. She has coached many teams at the studio over the years, and has loved getting to choreograph solos! The connections she has made are so special to her, and she is always learning from her students.
