Cait Swindler is an Idaho based dancer and choreographer, born and raised in the Treasure Valley. Her interest in dance and performance began within the Ballet Idaho Academy where she studied ballet, modern, jazz, and musical theatre. She furthered her training with the Willamette Apprentice Ballet in Oregon and later, Tempe Dance Academy in Arizona before attending school in the College of Arts & Media at Grand Canyon University.
Before graduating with a Bachelor of Arts in Dance Performance (2023), two of her collegiate dance pieces were adjudicated and accepted to represent the school at the American College Dance Association. Her work has also been showcased at the Herberger Theatre Center's Festival of the Arts, AZ Dance Film Fest, and various collegiate events.
After dancing professionally with Bodies Contemporary Co. and choreographing musicals for local theaters and colleges, she moved back to Idaho to continue her professional career and start her family! Cait is happy to be home and looks forward to equipping Boise’s artistic community with an influential level of pedagogy, creativity, & performance. EDP is blessed to have her back teaching for her second season!
Cait is married to her sweetheart Cameron, and they are proud new parents of a beautiful baby girl!
